A Wix/Velo platform for managing class bookings, member credits, waitlists, penalties, payments, and staff operations.
Challenge
A boutique studio needed to manage memberships, class packs, bookings, credit deductions, waitlists, and late-cancellation penalties in one workflow. Wix Bookings alone could not express expiring credits, rollover limits, or class-type-specific deductions.
Solution
Used Wix Bookings as the scheduling foundation while implementing a custom credit ledger, booking integrity checks, waitlist promotion, and SMS notifications with Velo and Wix Data. Integrated payments through Wix Pricing Plans and Wix Payments.
Result
Delivered a Wix site that lets staff operate complex membership and credit rules themselves, including automated waitlist notifications and late-cancellation handling.

Modeled credit lots in Wix Data so each booking can consume the right credit by class type, expiration, and FIFO rules.
Backend Enforcement
Placed credit deduction and reservation validation in Velo backend modules and data hooks, preventing page-code bypasses from breaking balances.
